About Me

I got started for one reason - to help you remember your last day with your loved one.

When I was just a year old, my sweet mom passed away unexpectedly from a blood clot.

Grief, in the traditional sense, never truly set in. It was simply my reality – a life without a mom. I imagine myself, confused and reaching for her in a casket, not understanding why she wouldn’t wake up. It’s a heartbreaking image. So much confusion, so much emotion.

Everything changed with the birth of my son. Suddenly, the weight of that missing piece became overwhelming. Simple moments throughout the day would trigger a wave of emotion as I thought about the experiences I’d never share with my own mother.

I craved that mother-child bond.

Driven by longing, I set out to learn more about my mom. The task proved nearly impossible. The people who knew her best were either gone or unreachable. Even finding pictures felt like a hopeless endeavor.

“There were people waiting outside for her viewing,” someone once told me, a detail that amplified the void. Who were these people? What stories could they tell? The frustration fueled a desire in me to capture memories, to give families a tangible way to hold onto their loved ones, even after they’re gone.

This passion led me here – to start my funeral photography.

I’ve given hundreds of families the gift of tender moments, celebration of life, and details their heart needs that they may not remember. My pictures will help them remember for years to come.

And I want to do the same for you.
